Each student has an individual behavior plan specific to their needs.
Our long-time goal is to be on a classroom behavior management plan that encourages
students to work together for a common goal.
I encourage parent involvement in the following ways:
- To be mindful of any notes or notices sent home and to respond in a timely manner.
- If I’m targeting a specific behavior in the classroom, following through at
home is key. I know how difficult this is; however your child’s success
depends in part on this consistency.
- Although I don’t send home a formal reading log, I encourage reading with your child as much as possible
- Keeping me informed of any events or changes in your child’s home life that
might effect his or her school day.
